In the end of it all it appears that being able to write online is the best possible skill one needs to develop.Google wants originality and value as well as popularity.Ezines would be the ultimate test of this.I guess ti is about time for me to focus a little more on this form of content when thinking of how I want to develop my business.
What I like about this is that it's very doable. Once you know Ezine articles is a high quality site you can focus on the keyword piece, then write them (or hire someone to write them for you!) and then get someone else to post them for you..It's amazing how writing (as Rebecca Happy mentioned in another comment) has now become one of the key (sorry!) Internet skills. Thanks!
Seems like content still rules, as they say. They are just getting more and more popular. You got ezine you got them all. I will need to hire some writer, though, no doubt. 
I really had no clue about Ezines until I took your training coarse. I couldn't believe all the quality content on the site as well as the ability for us to syndicate this content. This is a great resource for authors that want to get their articles read as well as marketers who want to get great content at a great price… FREE!

Articles are a great way to communicate with your audience and provide quality content. With the arrival of video and podcasts it is no longer the only form of content but it continues to be an important one. It still seems easier to have your article go viral than it is a video of podcast.
One major advantage of an article is that you can easily glance through it. You don't have to read the whole article. With video and audio that is different, since it is not as easy to skip parts.
Ezine articles has changed it policies and it now allows multiple links from the same article. That is a significant improvement.
You are not mentioning it in your article, but I see articles as a great resource for videos. You can simply read an article and produce a video doing it.

That EzineArticles.com's management policy on originality and quality are so strictly adhered to is a good thing. Maybe even a GREAT thing because it raises the bar for the type of intellectual meals one can expect to be served there. It makes the site a much more reasonable research source for all manner of things — given the number and breadth of articles hosted. This is very valuable to know.
It is also interesting (and once one understands how meticulous Ezine is about the quality of the articles it accepts, it makes sense) that Google's level of respect for an author with many articles on Ezine would be a high one. (Yep, it all flows as one.)
