Subject: OK I’ve finished your “sneak preview” videos…

{!name},

I hope you enjoyed the Web 2.0 video the other day.

I don’t see that we are in the business of selling products, we are in the business of selling hope. I consider it my job to make you hopeful, that by sticking with me you will become a more successful event planner than when we started.

Anyway, we are living in the information age which to me translates to information overload. Everyone wants you to consider their information as a mode for turning you into a customer.

I want this launch to be different to anything you have experienced before.  I want to entertain you whilst enlightening you and I want to take the time to engage you into conversation.  I want your opinion, please.

To keep these previews under 3 minutes I have sliced them into a sequence, each video introduces a different section of the members area. I have added some 3d graphics and upbeat music to make it entertaining as well, let’s face it, at the end of the day we’re in the business of entertaining.

This video gives you a taste of what you will be able to do with invitations and ticketing.  I hope you are going to be blown away at how you can automate the management of your entire guest list and RSVP’s.

In any case, I feel like I have said enough already so I am going to stop and let the video do the talking now. I actually thought I was going to be able to release more of it by now, but I’ve kept adding more and more into it and got carried away with the music and 3D background. I even paid a professional voice to read a script for me because my voice sounded to much like a computer generated voice?

IMPORTANT: please do not pass that link around… it’s ONLY for the people on my list.

Best of luck,
Abigale

P.S. I think you are going to like this preview of the site but I am not going to assume it… I haven’t heard anything but great reviews but I am still going to ask for your feedback in a few days. Make note of anything you think could add value to what we are doing.  I promise you will get an opportunity to tell me.

P.S.S For those of you who like to build anticipation around your event launch months out, especially if wanting to introduce scarcity to your promotions I have a valuable tip for you.
